Library Board of Trustees

LIBRARY BOARD OF TRUSTEES

The library board of trustees consists of eleven members, with eight members being appointed by the Halifax County board of supervisors and three members being appointed by the South Boston town council.

The library board is a governing board.

The library board meets once a month, except for the month of December when there is no meeting.  Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month (unless that day is a holiday) at the South Boston Public library at 4:30 pm.
